We tried this fruit in Costa Rica and fell in love with the flavor. We searched and searched for a source and we finally were successful. Its a wonderful tropical flavor. It has become one of our best sellers. Guanabana is grown in tropical areas around the world and has many names. It has been amazing to watch people walk up to our booths at Farmers Market and break into wide smiles when they see it because they never thought they would see the fruit as a jam in Texas. We use a small amount of raw unprocessed sugar when we make the jam so it is one of our lowest sugars per tablespoon. It appears that we (Janice) nailed the flavor because everyone says it tastes just like the fruit.
